“Houston, we have a problem.”
I’m excited today that former summer intern Rebecca is returning to work full-time with Bound4LIFE. She comes back to us as a fully-funded missionary, and that’s rare these days! Much love and many thanks to the church family at Christian Heritage Church in Tallahassee, FL.
Rebecca will be serving as a project coordinator and administrative assistant. What project you ask? Well, the details are still forthcoming, but it centers on mobilizing thousands of Christians to stand against the 78,000 square foot mega abortion facility nearing completion in Houston, TX. This will be the 2nd largest abortion facility in the world (second only to one in China where currently 13 million babies are aborted each year). Stay tuned for details to be released soon.

We’re believing that revival is about to break out in Houston and particularly in the Hispanic community. Some friends of mine recently called to say they wanted to help with the Houston project because they originally became Christians in Houston when the Jesus Movement hit. Now the Jesus Movement began in California in 1968 and 1969, but they thought it was significant that the revival hit Houston in April of 1970. That’s when they were swept into the Kingdom along with countless others, and they’re sending newspaper clippings talking about how the entire city was turned upside down at that time.
This is very significant because the Planned Parenthood abortion facility is due to open around April of 2010. I believe it is profound that this is happening at precisely the 40-year mark of such an historic outpouring in that city. Could it be that God will once again visit the city with unprecedented revival, or will the corporate Church remain complacent in the wilderness and allow Planned Parenthood to claim another generation unchallenged?
